What to bring with you

When you come for your appointment please remember to obtain and bring the following:

• Your referral from your doctor or optometrist
• Glasses if you have them
• A list of any prescription medication that you take
• Medicare card/DVA card, Pension card
• Copies of results, X-rays, MRI’s, CT scans and any other relevant information

Location and Parking

We are very conveniently located at 46 Castlereagh STREET (not Road), on the corner of Derby St. Ph: 4721 5899. The entrance to our rooms is from the car park at the rear of the building (enter off Derby St).

We have onsite parking, accessed from Derby St. If the car park is full there is also street parking available.

We are also situated near the Bus Stop.

Consultation Information

As part of a full eye examination, your pupils will be dilated and this will make your vision blurry for approximately two hours. It is important that you do not drive during this time. If you have sunglasses please bring them with you as this will help with glare. We recommend that you allow to be at our practice for approximately 1 – 2 hours.

Payment for consultations is required in full at the time of consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express

We recognise that your time is valuable and we make every effort to run on time. Occasionally emergencies or patients require a little more time, and these cause scheduling delays beyond our control. We apologise if we keep you waiting.
